Magnolia River - Good To Go From Head to Toe
on Tuesday, 31 October 2017.
Magnolia River’s Wellness Week was a success from start to finish thanks to Dominique Holden, Geri Grissom, and the entire Wellness Committee. They worked to bring a tremendous group of health professionals together, who provided healthy lifestyle tips and initiatives throughout the week.
Wellness Week began when LifeSouth brought their blood mobile to the corporate office and 20 employees from both the Decatur and Hartselle offices donated blood.
The week culminated on Friday with the Wellness Fair at the Double Tree in Decatur, followed by a BBQ where our own Whit McCormack served smoked chicken. Nearly 30 vendors participated in this year’s Wellness Far, including a yoga studio, several massage therapy clinics, chiropractic and dental care clinics, mental health professionals, self-defense instructors, a workout facility, banking institutions, and many more.
Nearly every aspect of one’s health--mental, physical, and emotional--was represented. Each vendor was amazing in talking to each participant, answering questions about health and safety, and ensuring everyone who came left more knowledgeable. The vendors and sponsors donated prizes and almost every Magnolia River employee left a winner!
Once the Wellness Fair was complete, Magnolia River employees and vendors gathered at the corporate office for a delicious lunch of smoked chicken, healthy sides, and friendly conversation. The weather was perfect, the food was tasty, and the Wellness Week truly lived up to this year’s theme--good to go from head to toe.
A special thanks to all our vendors who are helping Magnolia River be healthy!
