Hartselle, Alabama: Magnolia River Services, Inc. (Magnolia River) (www.magnolia-river.com) announced the promotion of Hayden Strickland to Executive Director of GIS Services. This is a new position created to continue Magnolia River’s expansion in key markets. Strickland will have responsibility for growing Magnolia River’s GIS software solutions business, beginning with the rollout of Magnolia River’s FLOW GIS product suite for infrastructure management. Utility companies, municipal governments, and Federal agencies will benefit from the automated FLOW GIS tools for data entry, spatial analysis, data storage, and reporting. FLOW GIS is built on the ESRI GIS software platform.

Strickland previously served as GIS Manager for Magnolia River. In that role, he coordinated database designs and supervised Computer Information Systems (CIS) integration into GIS systems. He customized and implemented ESRI GIS software to meet client needs for specialized applications while maximizing workflow efficiency.

Strickland holds a bachelor’s degree in Professional Geography, with a minor in Computer Information Systems, from the University of North Alabama.
