Magnolia River’s experienced inspectors review safety measures at each project site to ensure all federal, state, local, and client safety regulations and policies are met. The inspectors also ensure construction crews are following required environmental protocols.
The qualifications of Magnolia River inspectors satisfy and/or exceed minimum requirements as outlined in the DOT’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) 49CFR 190, 191, 192, 195, 199.
All Magnolia River inspectors are required to take a curriculum of 32 industry courses that address all fundamental natural gas construction activities/covered tasks. Courses cover topics such as: excavation safety, confined space safety, OSHA 29CFR1926 Construction Industry Standards, material handling, horizontal directional drilling, pipeline safety regulations, construction welding/in-service welding, plastic fusion qualification training, and Operator Qualification in 18 categories.
Magnolia River is registered with Operator Qualification (OQ) providers including Energy Worldnet, Veriforce, IS Networld, ITS (Industrial Training Services, Inc.), MGA (Midwest Gas Association, Inc.) and ISTC (Industrial Qualification Safety Training Council).
