Magnolia River provides comprehensive NGDISM support, from application to post-award execution, supported by experience in every year of the program.
Yesterday, PHMSA announced nearly $100 million in new NGDISM grant funding. The program supports city- and community-owned utilities in repairing, replacing, or modernizing aging, leak-prone gas distribution pipeline systems.
This is the final year of the program, established under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and providing close to $1 billion in grant funding since its launch. The application deadline is May 22, 2026, and eligible utilities are encouraged to submit as soon as possible.
Magnolia River Has Been Here From the Start
Magnolia River has supported the NGDISM program since its inception, helping public gas utilities navigate the application process, develop project scopes and budgets, and fulfill post-award requirements, including Tier 2 Environmental Assessments, engineering design, inspection services, GIS as-builts, and regulatory compliance solutions.
Over the first several years of the program, PHMSA awarded hundreds of millions of dollars to utilities across the country. With this final round of funding on the table, now is the time to act.
