Kris has been with Magnolia River for over 20 years and currently serves as the Operations Support Manager. Magnolia River's Employee Committee established an employee recognition program at the beginning of 2021. The program's objective is to recognize and communicate to the entire organization those employees who demonstrate excellence in their responsibilities at Magnolia River and its affiliated companies. Each quarter, managers and supervisors nominate employees who personify the four guiding principles (STOP) in some form or capacity. Of those nominated, up to ten candidates are selected each quarter to be recognized. One employee is then selected as the Darrell J. Hand – Employee of the Year from among those who receive quarterly recognition.
In 2021, we lost a very special employee, Darrell Hand. Darrell was a member of the strategic planning committee that was formed in 2019 and was instrumental in the development of several initiatives, including the crafting of our guiding principles. Darrell modeled the guiding principles and characteristics of this award, and we felt it was only fitting to name this annual award after him.
Magnolia River is honored to recognize Kris, an exceptional team member who embodies our guiding principles. As one of our longest standing employees, she has been an integral part of our success.
